COVID-19: 444 new cases, 467 patients recover, 11 die
Skopje, 19 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 444 new COVID-19 infections after 2,938 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, 11 deaths and 467 recoveries were registered, the Ministry of Health said on Friday. Of the new cases, 190 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 43, Pilep – 27, Kavadarci – 19, Kochani – 16, Veles and Strumica – 15 each, Ohrid and Berovo – 13 each, Resen – 11, Kumanovo and Shtip – 10 each, Tetovo, Kichevo, Gevgelija and Delchevo – 6 each, Kriva Palanka and Kratovo – 5 each, Valandovo – 4,  Negotino, Sveti Nikole, Bogdanci, Demir Hisar and Makedonska Kamenica – 3 each, Radovish and Probishtip – 2 each, Gostivar, Struga, Debar, Vinica and Pehchevo – 1 each. Of the 11 fatalities, three were registered in Skopje (aged 67, 75 and 79), and one each in Bitola (53), Veles (59), Kavadarci (81), Krushevo (84), Prilep (66), Probishtip (73), Radovish (72) and Shtip (78). Five more deaths were recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated November 9-16 At the moment, 8,352 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,442,544 tests, recording 211,382 COVID-19 cases and 195,624 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,406.
