COVID-19: 393 new cases and 20 deaths
Skopje, 7 October 2021 (MIA) - North Macedonia registered on Thursday 393 new COVID-19 infections after 2,974 tests were carried out in the past 24 hours. Citing Public Health Institute’s report, the Health Ministry said there were 20 fatalities in the same time period and 397 people who have recovered from the virus.

Of the new cases, Skopje reported 187, said the press release.

Twenty people died of coronavirus-related complications in the past 24 hours, including nine patients in Skopje. Kumanovo, Struga and Veles reported two deaths each, and Kavadarci, Gostivar, Kichevo, Kriva Palanka, and Sveti Nikole reported one each.

Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 193,846 confirmed cases and 176,278 people who have recovered.

Death toll reached 6,783.

At the moment, there are 10,785 active cases nationwide.

A total of 1,311,162 COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
