Skopje, 26 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 37 new COVID-19 infections after 649 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, 33 patients recovered and no deaths were reported, the Health Ministry said on Wedneday. Of the new cases, 27 were recorded in Skopje, followed by Shtip – 2, Kumanovo – 1, Bitola – 1, Prilep – 1, Ohrid – 1, Strumica – 1, Delchevo – 1, Berovo – 1, and Kratovo – 1. There are 241 active cases nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,181,271 tests, recording 343,964 COVID-19 cases and 334,162 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,561.
