COVID-19: 36 new cases, 12 patients recover, no fatalities
Skopje, 23 July 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 36 new cases out of 3,569 COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours. Fifteen new cases were registered in Kumanovo, followed by Skopje-7, Tetovo-6, Gostivar-2, Prilep-1, Veles-1, Shtip-1, Strumica-1, Kochani-1, and Kichevo-1. Twelve coronavirus patients recovered and there were no fatalities in the same period, the Ministry of Health said on Friday. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 156,017 confirmed coronavirus cases and 150,263 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 5,489. At the moment, there are 265 active cases nationwide, including 97 in the capital Skopje. A total of 944,747 COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far in the country.
