COVID-19: 325 new cases, 11 patients recover, 1 dies
Skopje, 6 August 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 325 new cases out of 5,959 COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours. Of these, 101 new cases were registered in Skopje, followed by Tetovo-95, Gostivar-43, Kumanovo – 26, Struga – 10, Ohrid-7, Debar-7, Kichevo-7, Prilep – 4, Kochani – 4, Makedonski Brod-4, Strumica-3, Radovish – 3, Pehchevo-3, Kavadarci-2, Shtip-2, Bitola-1, Veles-1, Berovo-1 and Vinica-1. Eleven coronavirus patients recovered, and one patient from Bitola, aged 55, died in the same period, the Ministry of Health said on Friday. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 157,251 confirmed coronavirus cases and 150,481 people have recovered. The death toll has reached 5,502. At the moment, there are 1,268 active cases nationwide, including 370 in the capital Skopje. A total of 1,005,162 COVID-19 tests have been carried out in the country so far.
