COVID-19: 262 new cases, 326 recoveries, one fatality

Skopje, 31 March 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 262 new COVID-19 infections after 2,225 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, one patient died and 326 recovered, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
Of the new cases, 138 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 25, Kavadarci – 17, Ohrid – 15, Prilep – 11, Kumanovo – 8, Delchevo – 6, Tetovo – 5, Kichevo – 5, Veles – 4, Strumica – 4, Shtip – 4, Gevgelija – 4, Kochani – 3, Gostivar – 2, Resen – 2, Valandovo – 2, Krushevo – 2, Struga – 1, Negotino – 1, Sveti Nikole – 1, Radovish – 1, and Vinica – 1.
In addition, 39 of the total number of new cases (262) are re-infections.
One patient died, from Skopje (aged 87)).
At the moment, 1,770 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,962,489 tests, recording 305,979 COVID-19 cases and 294,988 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,221.
