COVID-19: 254 new cases, 412 recoveries, four deaths in past three days
Skopje, 5 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 254 new COVID-19 cases after 1,308 tests were performed in the past three days (September 2-4), four deaths were reported, while 412 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Monday.  Of the new cases, 143 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 22, Ohrid – 11, Kumanovo – 10, Tetovo – 9, Kavadarci – 7, Veles – 6, Kichevo – 5, Kochani – 5, Prilep – 4, Gostivar – 4, Shtip – 4, Strumica – 3, Gevgelija – 3, Negotino – 2, Resen – 2, Sveti Nikole – 2, Kriva Palanka – 2, Berovo – 2, Valandovo – 2, Krushevo – 2, Struga – 1, Delchevo – 1, Vinica – 1, and Kratovo – 1.  Over the past three days, four patients died, including one from Skopje (aged 76), one from Probishtip (aged 62), one from Veles (aged 88), and one from Vinica (aged 86).   At the moment, 1,296 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,154,094 tests, recording 340,948 COVID-19 cases and 330,153 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,499.
