COVID-19: 193 new cases, 97 recoveries
Skopje, 1 July 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 193 new COVID-19 cases after 894 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 97 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Friday. Of the new cases, 109 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 17, Kumanovo – 15, Kavadarci – 11, Veles – 7, Gostivar – 6, Shtip – 6, Kichevo – 5, Prilep – 4, Tetovo – 3, Strumica – 3, Radovish – 3, Kochani – 1, Gevgelija – 1, Negotino – 1, and Demir Hisar – 1. According to the e-registry of Covid-related fatalities, two persons from Skopje and Berovo died in period June 13-20. At the moment, 895 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,082,690 tests, recording 314,211 COVID-19 cases and 303,989 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,327.
