Skopje, 22 July 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 17 new cases out of 2,896 COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours. Nine new cases were registered in Tetovo, followed by Skopje-6, Prilep-1 and Gostivar-1. Seven coronavirus patients recovered and one person from Skopje (70) passed away, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 155,981 confirmed coronavirus cases and 150,251 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 5,489. At the moment, there are 241 active cases nationwide, including 94 in the capital Skopje. A total of 941,178 COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far in the country.
