COVID-19: 154 new cases, 408 patients recover, 12 die
Skopje, 20 September 2021 (MIA) – Over the past 24 hours, North Macedonia registered 154 new COVID-19 cases from 1,967 tests done in the country, 408 patients recovered and 12 people died from coronavirus-related complications, health authorities said on Monday. New cases were recorded in Skopje – 118, Kumanovo – 12, Kavadarci – 5, Prilep – 3, Bitola – 3, Veles – 2, Kichevo – 2, Kochani – 2, Sveti Nikole – 2, Kriva Palanka – 2, Strumica – 1, Vinica – 1, Kratovo – 1. Of the 12 people who died from coronavirus-related complications, 10 died in Skopje (aged 90, 90, 82, 74, 73, 73, 71, 67, 67 and 53), one in Shtip (84) and one in Valandovo (30). At the moment, 12,786 cases are active nationwide, of which 5,761 in Skopje. Since the onset of the epidemic, a total of 1,254,061 tests have been made, recording 187,068 COVID-19 cases and 167,810 recoveries. The death toll has reached 6,472.
