COVID-19: 135 new cases, 330 patients recover, 11 die
Skopje, 25 October 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 135 new COVID-19 infections after 1,514 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same time period, 11 deaths and 330 recoveries were registered, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
Of the 135 new cases, 91 were registered in Skopje, followed by Kumanovo-14, Kavadarci-7, Struga-4, Prilep-3, Bitola-2, Strumica-2, Sveti Nikole-2, Kriva Palanka-2, Demir Hisar-2, Shtip-1, Kochani-1, Gevgelija-1, Vinica-1, Valandovo-1 and Kratovo-1.
Of the eleven fatalities, two were registered in Skopje (aged 67 to 79), two in Kriva Palanka (67 and 76), two in Kumanovo (73 and 74), one in Makedonska Kamenica (82), one in Ohrid (80), one in Prilep (74), one in Probishtip (64), and one in Shtip (70).
At the moment, 6,187 cases are active nationwide, of which 3,190 in Skopje.
Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,366,002 tests, recording 199,901 COVID-19 cases and 186,952 recoveries.
The death toll has reached 7,062.
