COVID-19: 134 new cases, 144 recoveries, one fatality
Skopje, 7 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 134 new COVID-19 cases after 912 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, one person died, while 144 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
Of the new cases, 63 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 13, Kriva Palanka – 7, Kavadarci – 6, Resen – 5, Krushevo – 5, Prilep – 4, Gostivar – 4, Kumanovo – 3, Struga – 3, Berovo – 3, Veles – 2, Shtip – 2, Kochani – 2, Gevgelija – 2, Tetovo – 1, Ohrid – 1, Strumica – 1, Kichevo – 1, Negotino – 1, Delchevo – 1 and Makedonski Brod – 1.
One person died, from Kumanovo, aged 65. According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, two persons died between August 29-31.
At the moment, 1,287 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,155,983 tests, recording 341,261 COVID-19 cases and 330,472 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,502.
