COVID-19: 127 new cases, 123 recoveries in last 24 hours
Skopje, 20 April 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 127 new COVID-19 infections after 1,908 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, and 123 recoveries, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
According to the Covid-diagnosed fatality registry, two people, aged 82-91, died in the period between April 2-12.
Of the new cases, 57 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 24, Ohrid – 7, Prilep – 5, Veles – 5, Struga – 4, Berovo – 4, Valandovo – 4, Kavadarci – 3, Kichevo – 3, Kumanovo – 2, Strumica – 2, Shtip – 1, Gevgelija – 1, Negotino – 1, Sveti Nikole – 1, Delchevo – 1, Demir Kapija – 1 and Makedonska Kamenica – 1.
In addition, 20 of the total number of new cases (127) are re-infections.
At the moment, 802 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,000,910 tests, recording 308,878 COVID-19 cases and 298,811 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,265.
