Skopje, 26 March 2024 (MIA) — A concert of Greek music featuring Kleoniki Demiri was held Monday evening at the National Opera and Ballet to mark the Greek national holiday of March 25.

According to the Greek Embassy in a press release, Kleoniki Demiri was accompanied by Achilleas Vastor on piano, Dimitris Koufoyorgos on mandolin and bouzouki, and Lefteris Grivas on accordion.

"The audience enjoyed the rich musical program that spanned Greek music from traditional Greek songs to works of great contemporary Greek composers," the release said.

The concert was organized by the Greek Embassy, which also hosted a reception attended by Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Kaja Shukova, EU Ambassador David Geer, political party representatives and members of the diplomatic corps. mr/
