Commitments must be fulfilled, everything else is shunning responsibility: PM

Skopje, 5 October 2023 (MIA) - We have undertaken commitments during our Euro-integration path, as has the EU, and they must be fulfilled. Everything else is a deception of the citizens, getting away from reality, shunning responsibility, lacking courage, said Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski on Thursday.

PM Kovachevski told a press conference within the European Political Community summit that as the EU fulfilled its task to include the Macedonian language, without any footnotes, in the Negotiating Framework, North Macedonia should fulfill its task of including parts of other nations in the country's Constitution, MIA reports from Granada.

"They undertook the commitment of holding the first Intergovernmental Conference last year, which they did, they undertook the task of signing the Frontex agreement in Macedonian language, which they did. In the same way, we should fulfill our task of incorporating parts of other nations in our Constitution and thus continue on our European integration path. Everything else is a deception of the citizens, getting away from reality, shunning responsibility, lacking courage," said Kovachevski.
