Skopje, 25 May 2022 (MIA) – COVID-19 situation in the country is stable, the daily incidence has seen a drop and we believe there is no need for further interventions regarding the manner in which the virus transmission is controlled, said Commission for Infectious Diseases Spokesperson Zlate Mehmedovikj on Wednesday. The Commission decided at today’s session to recommend the use of rapid antigen instead of PCR tests in diagnostic procedures, so that patients are not exposed to additional costs. “There are sufficient test supplies, people should not buy them, they can be obtained in the institution where the diagnostic procedure is carried out,” Mehmedovikj told a press conference.
