Skopje, 10 August 2023 (MIA) — Twenty-five wildfires were extinguished across the country on Wednesday, according to the Crisis Management Center.

Six of them were near Kumanovo, four in the Skopje region, two in the Ohrid area, and two near Veles. Wildfires were also put out near Sveti Nikole, Shtip, Gevgelija, Novaci, Karbinci, Dolneni and Lozovo.

The CMC is urging the public to exercise caution and not cause wildfires. mr/
