Skopje, 2 September 2024 (MIA) — Out of the 24 wildfires reported on Monday until 7 pm, seven are still burning, two have been brought under control, and 15 have been put out, according to the Crisis Management Center. 

Still burning are the fires between the villages of Stepanci, Kadiica, Omorani and the village of Oraov Dol in the Municipality of Chashka; between the villages of Peshtani, Kokre and Kalen in the Municipality of Prilep; between the villages of Hadzhi Hamzali, Edeklerci, Toplik and Dragoevo in the Municipality of Shtip; and between Tanushevci and Ramno in the Municipality of Chucher-Sandevo.

There are also active fires in Trizla in the Municipality of Prilep; near the village of Tearce in the Tearce Municipality; and near the village of Vardino in the Municipality of Demir Hisar.

Firefighters have brought under control the wildfire between the villages of Desovo and Drenovci in the Municipality of Dolneni and the fire near the Glogji village in the Municipality of Tearce. mr/
