Citizens should go to the polls and vote for change, Mickoski tells rally in Bitola
Bitola, 1 October 2021 (MIA) – VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski called on citizens at a rally in Bitola on Friday to go to the polls and vote for change. “It takes courage to fight for standard, for more money for the people, more health conditions, better education. It takes courage not to go round in circles for whole 30 years. It takes courage to fight against the criminals, no matter where they are, where they come from, and who they’re with. It takes courage to draw a line over things that matter, to make it clear how far can go those who want to belittle us,” said Mickoski. He added that generations have passed while waiting for some change, a better tomorrow, and all hope had ended in disappointment. Presenting the VMRO-DPMNE candidate for mayor of Bitola, Toni Konjanovski, Mickoski said that Konjanovski is a noble and honest man, a man from Bitola who will work for Bitola. Addressing the rally, Konjanovski said that the fight for Bitola is a fight for improving the road infrastructure, construction and reconstruction of streets, as well as work on the street infrastructure in rural and urban areas. “The city should not only be one of the largest industrial, economic, political, cultural and sports centers, but modern education center, starting from preschool, primary school to high school,” said Konjanovski. He added that Bitola with its cultural and historical sites must grow into a recognizable point on the tourist map in the country, the Balkans, in Europe, and even in the world. Earlier on Friday, the VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition held rallies in Demir Hisar, Novaci and Mogila.
