Skopje, 18 January 2023 (MIA) – The Cinematheque of North Macedonia is set to screen on Wednesday Darijan Pejovski’s second feature film Mimi. The film will have two more screenings on January 20 and January 21 as part of the Cinematheque’s program for the month.  

Mimi is a psychological drama about a young woman who, suppressed by gender prejudice in her hometown, comes to live in Skopje. She meets extrovert Sara and a friendship is born that soon turns into an obsession. Mimi is a film about superficiality and the false facades we show to others.  

Pejovski’s second feature premiered at the Cinedays Festival of European Film in Skopje. So far it has been shown at the film festivals in Pula and Herceg Novi. The film stars Natalija Teodosieva, Tamara Ristoska, Oliver Mitkovski, Petar Mirchevski and Vladimir Petrovikj.
