Skopje, 24 August 2023 (MIA) — Chief of the General Staff of the Army Lieutenant Colonel General Vasko Gjurchinovski will pay a two-day visit to the army members taking part in Slovenia's flood relief efforts.

According to an official press release, Lieutenant Colonel General Gjurchinovski will be accompanied by Joint Operations Command commander Brigadier General Besnik Emini.

Following the torrential rains and heavy floods in Slovenia earlier this month, one hundred members of North Macedonia's Army were deployed to the flood-hit region of Mezice to help with flood damage clean-up. mr/
