Skopje, 14 July 2021 (MIA) – Preparations for the September census of the population in North Macedonia are underway, government spokesperson Dushko Arsovski said during a press conference on Wednesday. “The census will be carried out in September in line with the highest statistical standards,” Arsovski stressed. He added that the government is convinced that stakeholders and citizens realize the importance of the operation, especially as the country has a law and methodology that guarantee that the headcount will be performed in accordance with highest standards. Arsovski announced that the call for census takers and instructors will be published July 20. Applications should be submitted online via the census website. The process of testing and selecting candidates is expected to conclude by August 15.
