Gostivar, 8 May 2024 (MIA) - Caretaker Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi cast his vote on Wednesday, noting that all conditions for the electoral process have been met.
"The expectation is that the day will end peacefully, without any problems. I am convinced that will be the case. After all, the citizens showed a high level of voting culture on April 24. There is no reason why it should be any different today. Ultimately, citizens are aware of the importance of the electoral process and have all the freedom to express their will in the ballot box. By doing so, they actually vote for the candidate they think meets their expectations," said Xhaferi.
He gave a positive reply to MIA's question on whether today he voted both in the presidential and in the parliamentary elections.
"Yes, of course. It is freedom of choice, and in any case it is both a right and an opportunity, and it is ultimately an opportunity to fulfil the obligation to the citizens," Xhaferi pointed out.
