Bulgaria again in solidarity with brotherly Macedonia, Radev tells Kovachevski
Sofia, 5 September 2022 (MIA) - Bulgaria will once again be in solidarity with brotherly Macedonia, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said meeting with North Macedonia's delegation, led by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, MIA's correspondent from Sofia reports. Despite the political tensions we've been witnessing these past months, the relations between our two countries lay on a solid foundation, that is not in relation to any political trend, he stated. "That is the foundation of Bulgaria's decision to unconditionally support Macedonia by recognizing the country's independence, by insisting on a UN preventative contingent during the breakup of former Yugoslavia, by providing help during the embargo, by providing military and technical assistance in case of natural disasters," the Bulgaria President said at the meeting.
