Sofia, 6 July 2022 (MIA) - The reaction in North Macedonia to the European proposal for unblocking the country's EU integration process is quite concerning for a democratic country, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska said commenting on latest developments in the country. "We should give them the opportunity to explain to their community what this package is," Genchovska said after Wednesday's session of the outgoing government, MIA's Sofia correspondent report. What Bulgaria can do, she stated, is to refrain from speculating with information reported by the media in North Macedonia. According to Genchovska, Bulgaria's position is clear and Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry strictly abides by the decision of the Assembly. "The colleagues in the Republic of North Macedonia should undergo a process according to the procedures and review the documents through their government and their parliament," stated Minister Genchovska.
