Britain's Princess of Wales says she is having chemo for cancer

London, 22 March 2024 (PA Media/dpa/MIA) - Britain's Princess of Wales has announced she is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer, saying in an emotional video message: "I am well and getting stronger every day."

Catherine urged anyone facing cancer not to "lose faith or hope."

As she addressed her own diagnosis and treatment, Kate spoke directly to others dealing with the disease, telling them: "You are not alone."

The princess's message of hope to fellow cancer patients follows that of her father-in-law, King Charles III, who has been praised for his openness about his own cancer treatment.

The British royal family currently face a plethora of rumors and conspiracy theories.

Charles is being treated for cancer, but continues to run state affairs and has already been photographed doing so.

Princess Kate, the wife of Prince William, was said to be recovering from an operation and was not expected to attend public appointments again until after Easter, which fuelled massive speculation about her well-being.
