Skopje, 1 December 2023 (MIA) - Members of the United States Armed Forces for Europe and Africa will take part in the "Brave Partner 23" exercise from December 1-10, 2023, at the Krivolak army field.

Units of the US Army 2nd Cavalry Regiment will carry out training activities and a live-fire range with Stryker vehicles at the Krivolak army field.

As host, the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia will participate in the exercise with 30 of its own members, the necessary military-police escort and security, as well as logistical support of the activities.

"In addition to strengthening the alliance and interoperability with the US Armed Forces, this type of exercise, also helps demonstrate capabilities for joint defense and deterrence, as well as the capacity and significance of the Krivolak army field for hosting different trainings and exercises. This is an opportunity to get acquainted with the characteristics and capabilities of this type of armored vehicles, which according to the plan for the development of defense capabilities for modernization and equipment will become a part of our Army in the following period," the Ministry of Defense said. ssh/ik/
