Bojmacaliev: Diaspora community members can get new name passports at diplomatic missions

Skopje, 23 February 2024 (MIA) — Additional Deputy Minister of Interior Mitko Bojmacaliev urged members of the Macedonian diaspora community to turn to North Macedonia's embassies and consulates to obtain their travel documents with the new name of the country.
Writing in a social media post, Bojmacaliev said since Oct. 1, 2021, and as of Feb. 9, 2024, a total of 47,726 nationals of North Macedonia had obtained new name passports through the country's diplomatic missions worldwide.
Twenty-five diplomatic missions of North Macedonia are issuing travel documents at the moment, he wrote. They are located in Ljubljana, London, Bern, Berlin, Bonn, Munich, Vienna, New York, Chicago, Venice, Rome, Malta, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Beijing, Malmo, Abu Dhabi, Oslo, Brussels, The Hague, Paris, Toronto, Detroit, Melbourne and Canberra. mr/
