Skopje, 11 December 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski and Bosnia and Herzegovina counterpart Edin Forto met Monday at the sidelines of the Ministerial Council held in Skopje, and agreed that the region needs measures and policies to facilitate transport and trade, as well as strengthen regional cooperation.

Bochvarski and Forto reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations and concluded that both countries remain firmly committed to the realization of infrastructure projects towards enhancing regional cooperation, the Ministry of Transport and Communications said in a press release.

They also referred to the new Skopje-Sarajevo flight as a prerequisite for rising trade, tourism and cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, Minister Bochvarski noted that North Macedonia has continually aligned its legislation with the EU law in the field of transport policy.
