Skopje, 3 December 2021 (MIA) – We will most probably decide to freeze the prices of basic food products, says Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi. A proposal is set to be submitted to the Government in the coming days. “The trade sector within the ministry has already made the calculations regarding the price increase of the basic products. The proposal is ready and we will send it to the Government tomorrow or next Tuesday. North Macedonia will most probably decide to freeze the prices of basic food products – bread, milk, flour, sugar, cooking oil, and maybe meat,” Minister Bekteshi told TV24.
