Skopje, 6 January 2024 (MIA) – For the 14th time, in 75 cities and villages in the country and five in the diaspora, Badnik processions of carolers will be held in cities across the country under the slogan "Rejoice."

In Skopje, the celebration begins at Macedonia square at 11 am with a carolling concert featuring child singers and the Macedonian pop stars Vera Miloshevska, Antonija Gigovska, Lambe Alabakovski, Dimitar Andonovski, and others.

Also, 2,000 gold-colored stars symbolizing the Star of Bethlehem will be given away to the audience.

Following the performance, the participants including children from all Skopje municipalities will form a Badnik procession.

They will walk to the St. Clement of Ohrid Cathedral Church, where they will be welcomed by the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia HB Stefan. mr/
