Skopje, 20 June 2023 (MIA) – The average net wage paid per employee in April was Mden 36.134 and is up by 14.6 percent compared to April 2022, said the State Statistical Office on Tuesday.

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors of financial and insurance activities (28.1 percent), administrative and support service activities (21.7 percent) and accommodation and food service activities (17.8 percent).

An increase compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors financial and insurance activities (14.7 percent) electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (13.2 percent) and administrative and support service activities (12.5 percent).

The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in April 2023 was Mden 54.177.
