Skopje, 22 October 2024 (MIA) - Austrian Member of European Parliament (MEP) Thomas Waitz has been named the new European Parliament Rapporteur on North Macedonia.

Waitz, a member of the Group of the Greens, is the co-chair of the European Green Party alongside French senator Mélanie Vogel.

On his X account, Waitz says he is working, among other things, on EU enlargement with a focus on the Western Balkans.
