Army’s Special Forces attend diving training in Greece
Athens, 9 September 2021 (MIA) – Members of the Special Operation Forces of the Republic of North Macedonia attended basic and advanced military diving training, which took place from August 30 to September 8, 2021, in Nea Peramos near Athens, said the General Staff of the Greek Army, MIA’s Athens correspondent reports.
The training was conducted by trainers of the Special Warfare Command of the General Staff of the Greek Army under the 2021 Military Cooperation Program between the two countries, and is also part of the international cooperation of the Greek Special Forces with friendly and allied countries.
The General Staff of the Greek Army adds that the training highlights “the contribution of the Greek Special Forces in supporting the concrete country in the development and adjustment of its defense capabilities in accordance with the requirements of the Alliance.”
