Army Chief of Staff to visit US Armed Forces

Skopje, 4 March 2026 (MIA) - An Army delegation led by Chief of Staff, Major-General Sashko Lafchiski, is paying a visit to the United States Armed Forces as of Wednesday.
During a visit to the Pentagon, General Lafchiski will meet with Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Christopher Mahoney, the Army General Staff said in a press release.
The Army delegation will also attend the ceremony of commander handover at the Vermont National Guard, with retiring Major-General Gregory Knight passing over the post to Brigadier General Henry Harder.
The US visit aims to strengthen the strategic defense cooperation between North Macedonia and the United States, reads the press release.
