Skopje, 27 July 2023 (MIA) - Former Besa secretary general Arjanit Hoxha, and former minister and MP Bastri Bajrami announced on Thursday they will be forming a new political formation.

Hoxha stressed that starting today, he and several other party members will function as a separate political formation, and they are opening the doors for anyone who wants to become a part of their political project.

"We are an organized structure that in the coming months will work in full scale and with clear political articulation and vision for the future of the citizens and county. Bearing in mind that North Macedonia is in a very delicate situation with its European future being decided upon, we will behave with caution, seriousness and commitment to contribute through our representative in the Parliament so that the constitutional amendments will take place as soon as possible, and the path to membership will be open in the EU. Of course, it would be much better, for the sake of interethnic cohesion, if the proposal for constitutional amendments also included a correction of the term 20 percent in relation to the Albanian language, but the one responsible for that is the person who submitted the proposal," Hoxha said.

Hoxha once again distanced himself from, as he said, the so-called opposition bloc of (Besa leader) Bilal Kasami, (former DUI member) Izet Mexhiti and (Alternativa leader) Afrim Gashi. ssh/ik/
