Archbishop Stefan hosts Christmas gathering

Skopje, 8 January 2026 (MIA) — Macedonian Orthodox Church leader Archbishop Stefan of Ohrid and Macedonia hosted an informal Christmas gathering for President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and several other state officials Wednesday, the Macedonian Orthodox Diocese of Skopje said on its website.
The Christmas gathering was also attended by President Gjorgje Ivanov and his wife Maja Ivanova; Deputy Prime Minister for Political System Ljupcho Dimovski; Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski; Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Religious Groups chairwoman Olivera Trajkovska and Skopje Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski.
"The gathering, which took place at the archbishop's office, was held in an enjoyable holiday atmosphere," the church said. mr/
