Skopje, 6 May 2024 (MIA) - What we expect from these elections is for the creation of a government to be made impossible without Levica, said Levica’s leader and list principal in the first electoral district, Dimitar Apasiev, in a media statement Monday.
In the statement ahead of the party’s final rally in Skopje, Apasiev urged the citizens to vote at Wednesday’s elections.
“We offered our Macedonian platform and we expect the future mandate-holder to begin negotiations on the basis of that platform. We urge the electorate to turn out to vote in large numbers and vote at these double elections. We expect solid figures, for the result from the presidential elections to double and Levica to win 8-12 MPs, depending on the turnout. We expect a manly fight in Parliament for the Macedonian national interests,” Apasiev said, voicing gratitude to all activists and volunteers that contributed over the past period.
