Apasiev in Krushevo: More Levica lawmakers in Parliament to prevent harmful policies

Krushevo, 4 May 2024 (MIA) - Levica leader Dimitar Apasiev said in Krushevo on Saturday that the upcoming elections are crucial for the country, calling on the citizens to vote for the pro-Macedonian platform.

"My message to the citizens in these elections is not to cast their vote for the 'Tirana' or 'Sofia' platforms, but to vote for the only pro-Macedonian platform, which is the platform of Levica. We managed to prevent many harmful policies with two MPs, and I believe now we can ask the citizens again, for a double-digit number of lawmakers, as we believe that would enable us to prevent more harmful policies," said Apasiev.

List principal in the fifth election district Jovana Mojsovska said that Levica's program, unlike other parties, has an extensive platform on labor rights. In the May 8 elections, Mojsovska expects high voter turnout.

Mojsovska called on MPs to waive travel expenses and show solidarity with the common people.

"Levica is the only party that advocates for no travel expenses, no privileges of officials. In the past mandate, our MPs had 0 denars in travel expenses, and that will be the case in the next mandate as well. I call on all MPs - in conditions where in Macedonia almost 500,000 people live on the edge of poverty, I call on the MPs to waive their travel expenses," said Mojsovska.
