Apasiev and Taravari confirm new parliamentary majority
Skopje, 5 November 2021 (MIA) – Levica leader and Alliance of Albanians secretary-general Arben Taravari confirmed late Friday that a new parliamentary majority has been formed. Apasiev and Taravari told TV Klan upon leaving the Parliament that the new parliamentary majority is there. “Yes, we have a new majority. It is official. We have 61 MP seats that could rise to 64,” said Apasiev. He added that the majority is comprised of VMRO-DPMNE, Besa, Alternativa, Alliance of Albanians and Levica. “A new majority, 61,” added Taravari. Earlier, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said in a Facebook post that a new parliamentary majority has been formed. “The new future is coming, a new time and a new hope. Big challenges lie ahead, we will succeed together while thankful for the support. Macedonia will make it! We have a new parliamentary majority,” said Mickoski and shared a photo alongside Levica leader Dimitar Apasiev, Besa secretary-general Arjanit Hoxha, Alternativa leader Afrim Gashi and Alliance of Albanians secretary-general Arben Taravari. A media statement is expected on Saturday.
