Anastasov: Work also necessary from Bulgarian perspective to maintain bilateral relations
Skopje, 20 November 2022 (MIA) – We didn’t think the French proposal would be accepted in our Parliament, but it was, even though one of the parties in the coalition left the Government, and this proposal, which is pro-European, we hope it will bring the negotiations back to the table, because Bulgaria will become a full member only when all neighbors will become part of the EU, MP and former Minister of Environment in Bulgaria, Stanislav Anastasov, said Sunday.   Anastasov, who addressed a panel as part of Sunday’s Regional Liberal Conference “QVO VADIS EVROPA 2022?” – Fostering EU Enlargement and Integration, believes it is also necessary to work from the Bulgarian perspective in order to maintain bilateral relations.   He said he was personally very happy that Macedonian is already an official language in the EU, adding that it is very good news.
