Skopje, 29 July 2023 (MIA) - The Government has accepted the proposal of the Foreign Minister to recall North Macedonia's Ambassador to Japan, followed by the President signing the recall decision, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Saturday.

A committee within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposed to the Government to recall the Ambassador to Japan based on Article 3 of the Regulation over affairs considered as unsatisfactory results and damaging the to state's interests, said the MFA.

Goran Cekov has been Ambassador to Japan since July 2021.
