Skopje, 18 November 2021 (MIA) – Alternativa MP Skender Rexhepi believes the party will decide to join the Government because the country’s EU integration has precedence over the toppling of authorities. “In principle, I believe that Alternativa will be part of the Government. Differences within the party have been settled and I expect the party’s bodies to decide on joining the Government, but we have to wait until the final decision. The country’s EU integration has precedence over the toppling of the Government. I believe we’ll give way to Euro-integration processes and realization of Alternativa’s programme that we promised to the citizens and our voters,” Rexhepi told Sloboden Pechat. He adds no ministerial posts have been offered to Alternativa thus far and expects the picture to be clearer after their leader Afrim Gashi meets Prime Minister Zoran Zaev on Friday.
