Skopje, 17 August 2021 (MIA) — Mden 182.3 million (almost 3 million euros) in subsidies were given to 7,267 farmers "including livestock breeders who have kept female goats and producers of domestic certified first- and second-generation seed material for cereals, fodder, or industrial crops," according to the Agency for Financial Support of Agriculture and Rural Development. Agency director Nikica Bachovski said the applications for subsidies were processed quickly so the farmers could have sufficient funds during the peak of the season and ahead of the autumn sowing. "In parallel," Bachovski said, "we are preparing the 'green oil' cards, which will cut production costs during this harvest or ahead of the next one." mr/
