All procedures for change of M-NAV management expected to be finalized next week

Skopje, 19 January 2024 (MIA) - M-NAV's Supervisory Board has accepted the Government's proposal to appoint Hekuran Asani and Milan Korakj as directors in the company in place of outgoing directors Fahrudin Hamidi and Ljube Stamenkovski, M-NAV confirmed for MIA.

The Supervisory Board is expected to hold another meeting on Monday over signing the minutes of the session. The decision along with the corresponding documentation will then be sent to the Central Registry, which should register Asani and Korakj as new directors. All procedures are expected to be finalized next week.

The dismissal of the current directors came after the attack on M-NAV staff on January 4. The Skopje-based Public Prosecutor's Office said Thursday that all eight suspects involved in the M-NAV attack of January 4 have been detained.

In relation to the M-NAV incident, the Public Prosecutor's Office opened investigation against eight people suspected of the criminal offense - threatening air traffic security.
