Skopje, 24 March 2023 (MIA) - Total consumption by types of energy commodities in January was 709,217 MWh of electricity, 33.294 mil. nm3 of natural gas, 564,355 tonnes of coal and 105,213 tonnes of petroleum products, the State Statistical Office said on Friday.

Gross national electricity consumption is fully provided by the gross national electricity production, while 99.8 % of the total national consumption of coals were used for generation of electricity.
