Albania’s export of goods to N. Macedonia increased in 2022

Debar, 5 January 2023 (MIA) – Albania’s export of goods to North Macedonia from January to November 2022 increased by 4.5 billion lek (38,964,183.48 Euro) compared to the same period the previous year, reports ATA, Albania’s state news agency.

Goods valued at nearly 16 billion lek were exported to North Macedonia in the period between January and November, show official data of Albania’s Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) about external trade.

Tomatoes, cucumbers, fish, tropical fruit and pasta are one of the most exported goods.

Albania and North Macedonia have been closely cooperating as part of the CEFTA agreement. The two countries’ trade is liberalized, functioning without customs tariffs.
