Skopje, 2 December 2021 (MIA) – The remains of the 45 people killed in last week’s bus accident in Bulgaria are expected to arrive at the International Airport Skopje on Friday at 9 a.m. Upon arrival, the procession will move to and through Skopje along a pre-determined path, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release. Citizens can pay their respects and lay flowers at the Skenderbeg square between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and follow the procession that will pass the boulevard next to the square between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Bulgarian Ambassador Angel Angelov said earlier today that the remains will be transported by two military cargo aircrafts. The November 23 accident occurred at the Struma motorway near the town of Pernik, killing 45 passengers and injuring seven.
