Tetovo, 8 May 2024 (MIA) - DUI leader Ali Ahmeti at a press conference late on Wednesday said the “European Front” coalition is now the second largest political force in North Macedonia.

“The citizens gave us the legitimacy, the majority of Albanians and smaller communities such as the Turks, Bosniaks and Roma, who I thank. This is the first step of the European Front’s long path to full-fledged EU membership,” Ahmeti said.

According to Ahmeti, today more than ever the country needs stability, peace, zero problems with the neighbors, rule of law, and an official beginning of EU negotiations.

“We remain a strong front of missionaries until the realization of the final goal for EU membership,” Ahmeti said.
