Skopje, 2 September 2021 (MIA) — Admiral Robert Burke, Commander of NATO Allied Joint Force Command in Naples, Italy, after meeting with Defense Minister Radmila Shekerinska on Thursday said they had many productive talks, adding he was honored to host her and reciprocate her hospitality from March 2021, according to the Ministry of Defense. Admiral Burke also extended his sympathies regarding the recent forest fires in North Macedonia and expressed his thanks for North Macedonia's troops' participation in the KFOR mission in Kosovo. He highlighted NATO's strong commitment to the security of the Western Balkans. "The Allied Joint Force Command in Naples is looking forward to even more opportunities for cooperation with the proud and capable Army of our newest NATO member in future exercises and missions of the Alliance," Burke is cited as saying in the press release. mr/
